Moncton (NB), January 24, 2022 - Assumption Life is introducing many important enhancements to its FlexTerm solution.
Along with the added features, this new version of the FlexTerm solution will have new, more competitive premiums in order to gain an advantage in the competitive term insurance market. Following the recent premium adjustments made in September 2021, our goal was to apply these new adjustments across all terms with a focus on improving our mortgage insurance protection offering.
Assumption Life has continued to be inspired by the needs of its clients and advisors in the development of a more comprehensive solution for healthy individuals. We sought to create a term insurance that offers clients more flexibility and value at a competitive premium.
This new FlexTerm was created to be one of the most versatile forms of term insurance available in the marketplace. Its new features and changes mean advisors can offer a great product with added advantages.
FlexTerm now offers:
  • Competitive premiums, especially for individuals between the ages of 30 and 60
  • Coverage up to 10 million $
  • Valuable benefits included at no extra cost:
    • Extreme Disability Benefit
    • Term Exchange
    • Guaranteed Insurability Benefit
  • Yearly Renewable Term (YRT = 1), beyond the initial term, up to age 90
  • Convertible to age 75 without proof of insurability
  • Enhanced riders:
    • Disability Income rider: new eligible loans such as rent, condominium fees and commercial loans, as well as coverage for clients on parental leave up to $1,500 per month.
    • Critical Illness rider: new higher limits
